Dr. Lestini was very open and honest about my back problem, and answered all of my questions. He advised me as to what tests were necessary for the diagnosis. After the tests were performed, he told me exactly what to expect with the surgery and the therapy afterward. The office sent me a complete list of all the medical appointments which were necessary before the surgery with various doctors, and the dates and times of the appointments. What a lot of time they saved me! I didn't have to call a single doctor to arrange an appointment


My surgery went well, and I am happy to say that I now forget that I ever had back surgery in September of 2006. I would advise anyone who is considering this surgery to ask questions, and to pray about your decision beforehand so that you can go into the surgery with peace of mind that you are doing the right thing.


After surgery, listen to what is advised and follow through with your therapy and bone stimulator schedule if one is recommended for you. I am looking forward to a normal and full lifestyle. Getting back on the golf course was one of my goals, and I can foresee that being possible now.
