"When I met Dr. Lestini, I was not sure if surgery was for me. Dr. Lestini did not pressure me and he let me try other non-surgical options. The day I decided on surgery, it was my decision.
I was taking strong pain killers on a daily basis to just get out of bed and the pain had become unbearable. I had trouble walking and could only travel for short distances. Dr. Lestini was very supportive and the Christian atmosphere at his office let me know I was making the right decision.
In March of 2006, Dr. Lestini performed a spinal fusion of L3-S1. The day after the surgery I was walking the hospital corridor. In two weeks, I was completely off pain medications. In December of 2006, I found out after eight years of trying to conceive that I was pregnant. I am so thankful to God for leading me to Dr. Lestini. My new baby daughter thanks him as well, as I would have been unable to care for her without the surgery. "
