"I am thankful for Dr. Lestini, his staff and the Dynesys® procedure.
For more than five years (prior to our moving to North Carolina in 2001) my lower back condition was becoming worse. My nerves were pinched and my legs and were getting weaker with severe pain. I was doctoring with Neurontin, pain pills and trying to stay active. After having a heart attack in 2003 and at 78 years of age, it looked like surgery was not an option for me.
In the fall of 2005 and at the age of 80, Dr. Lestini introduced me to the Dynesys® procedure and started conducting extensive testing and exams. Much to my delight, he decided that I would be a good candidate for surgery using the Dynesys®. I had my surgery in December, 2005. With almost immediate relief from most of my pain, I am happy to say that I am so much better. I have been rewarded with a good quality of life in my later years.

Using a scale of 1-10, prior to my surgery my pain level was 8 to 9. Now it is 1 to 2. I enjoy playing golf and my flexibility is so much improved. I can make a full golf swing with zero pain.
I am now 81 and I praise the Lord every day for Dr. Lestini and the measure of strength I now have. I am thankful to the Lord for the health and years that He has given me, plus leading me to Dr. Lestini and for the care he has given to me."
