I would recommend the Triangle Spine and Back Care Center to anyone having back pain needing a specialist to evaluate/recommend treatment including surgery if required.
I had severe back/leg pain several months before seeing Dr. Lestini. Their pre-operative evaluations, including medications, physical therapy, X-rays, MRI and Cat scan were thoroughly reviewed resulting in a recommendation to have X-Stop implant surgery between verbas in the lower back. The recovery required two nights in the hospital and limited activities for about eight weeks.
Post-operative visits were timely and helpful. Eight weeks after surgery I started physical therapy (at Back Builders Physical Therapy). My recovery was greatly helped by doing the recommended exercises and stretches recommended by the therapist between sessions. This is really important for a successful recovery.
Seven months after my surgery I was pain free and back doing my normal activities. Dr. Lestini and his staff are very good.
