I had already had three back operations since 2008. I have had neck pain for over a 4.5 year span. I had been told by previous doctors that I was too young to have these problems, along with other excuses. I was always pushed out of the office. When I heard of Dr. Lestini, I didn't’t know what to expect, but I figured “why not”?
My first appointment with them I was to see Dr. Lestini’s PA. When the PA came through the door I knew it was a God send. The PA's name is Julie. She was the same PA for my previous back operations, and just to be clear Dr. Lestini didn't’t not do my back (with those earlier surgeries).
You will not find a better PA out there anywhere. Dr Lestini is the best Doctor, and everyone is starting to figure it out. I just wish I had figured it out sooner.
Dr. Lestini sent me for another MRI due to my most recent one being about eight months old. When I got back into his office, he told me he would leave the decision to pursue surgery up to me. I didn't’t really ask my odds, because I figured it had to be better than what I have been putting up with for the past 4+ years.
My surgery was earlier this month. I have never heard of a Doctor calling his patient the night before the surgery as Dr. Lestini did, nor have I ever had a Doctor pray for me before I went to the OR. It has been only three days since my surgery, I can tell a big difference! Dr. Lestini, Ms Julie (his PA) - (for me) there are special places for both of you!
